Week 100- Hasta La Vista

Hello Everyone!

Well, my two year journey has come to a close. I am so greatful for the experiences that I have had and the people I have been able to meet. Most of all I am thankful that I have been able to grow closer to my Savior and know Him better. I know that He lives, He guides us and protects us. He has a church on the earth that is directed by Him through His prophet. The book of mormon is the word of God, just as the bible. I love Him and will serve Him for the rest of my life.

Thank ya`ll for all of the prayers, letters, emails, and thoughts throughout this experience. They were apreciated and many times very needed. Have a great week and enjoy the pictures.

Hasta la vista baby:)

Week 99- Service

Not super crazy week,

It started in Corrientes capital. We did a service project on tuesday. Wednesday we did divisions and then had interviews with president that night. On Thursday we had my last multizone conference of the mission and I was able to bear my last testimony. It has been such an amazing experience here on the mission. This week we have been in Reconquista, Santa Fe, and have been working with the zone leaders here. There is a kid they are teaching that will get baptized next week!

I am so greatful to have the gospel in my life. The knowledge that I have a Savior who provided a way to return to live with my family forever is such a wonderful thought. I love the Lord and have promised to serve Him all my life. I hope you have a great week!

Week of 98- Out in the Wide World

Hello everyone!

This will be a super quick email. I have a new companion, Elder Slade, from Pleasant Grove, UT who finishes the mission with me. We are working hard and having an amazing time together. He´s super funny and we are having a ball. I am now traveling to different zones in the mission to train new zone leaders and help with the work here in argentina. The Lord lives and loves us. We can follow His prophet, Russell M Nelson, and know what we need to do to prepare ourselves for what is to come, both in this life and the next. This last conference has been amazing and I hope you can continue to study the talks and set goals to become a minister and deciple of Jesus Christ.

Have a great week!

Week 96- Last Week in the Office

Hey everyone,

This week we had some changes. Elder Harris and Elder Bustinza are replacing the financial and apartment secrataries. Transfers are coming up and with the summer wav of missionares leaving and arriving, major changes were made to the mission. We have been busy helping president and getting ready for these changes. I will be leaving soon to work with elder slade and do divisions with the new zone leaders to help train them. It will be a great experience. I have been trying to learn about ministering and how to become a better disciple of Jesus Christ. I went to ministering.lds.org and found excelent material about what it means to minister to others. I invite you to click the link and discover yourself!

Have a great week.

Week 95- No Sleep

Week of no sleep! haha

We had a crazy week of running sick people all over the place. We even took a sister that had to go home because of health reasons to the argentine/paraguay border!
On a more spiritual note, I´ve been trying to follow the prophet and read and study the conference talks. This week I watched Until Seventy Times Seven and Teaching in the Home - A Joyful and Sacred Responsability ive learned so much and I hope that you can read or listen to these two this week. Id love to hear what you learn!

Week 94- Baptism!

Hey everyone!

Conference! How crazy! I loved the Solemn Assembly when we were able to sustain the prophet and listen to his counsel. I am excited about the changes that happened in the priesthood and the new ministering program. If you have no idea what i´m talking about you can click here

On Saturday in between sessions we had a baptism! Marcos was baptized and is an awesome new member. It was such a special experience to see how he has changed in the time that we have taught him. I have been able to see how the Lord forgives us and wants us to be better.

I was reminded this week of the importance of being yourself. The Lord doesn´t want us to compare ourselves with others because we are all unique and have our own talents. Love yourself because God does!

Enjoy the monthly poster the mission. "He Lives"

Week 93- General Conference!

Saludos a todos!
This week was jam packed! On saturday we taught a new investigator, Carolina. In the evening we took Hermana Patanía to a district conference in Corrientes. We parked the car and went in to go to the bathroom. When we came back out we saw that we had been trapped in and so we went to the conference! On sunday we went back to Corrientes to the district conference and there were some really good talks. Here are some of my favorite quotes from what was said: "The spiritual man is an optimist, the natural man is a pessimist," "If everything is going bad for us, then we are listening to the enemy" The rest of the week we were  busy doing multizonas. We traveled to a small town called Itatí to drop off a portable baptismal font. We have a baptism tomorrow and are super excited for that. Also conference is this week!! I cant wait.
Listen to conference! its on lds.org this Saturday and Sunday! I promise something will be said that will help you!
Love ya´ll
