Week 28- New Years!

Hey Everyone!

Is there a week where I don't say "This was such a crazy week, it felt like a whirlwind!"? Anyways that's what this week was like haha!
Monday was talking to the family and that was super fun! In one of the charlas that night we were teaching Belen Inseraulde and she was explaining to her sister about the Book of Mormon and how it was true. It was such a great experience.
Tuesday we had district meeting and we talked about why there is no reason we shouldn't be asking people to be baptized in the first lesson. We learned that we need to invite with love and ask if they will get baptized if they receive an answer and feel that it is right.
Wednesday we did divisions in Bella Vista which is a beautiful small town with a lot of really nice houses. We had a great time spreading the gospel there! (Elder Gallegos and I).
Thursday was traveling and talking to a few people.
Friday and Saturday were really slow days but Sunday I gave a talk about the Word of Wisdom and moderation in all things (except for the always things like go to church and read the scriptures and the never things like kill and rob).
Thanks for all your support!

Week 27- Christmas!

¡Feliz Navidad!

This week has been great! We did divisions a little bit more with the Lavalle elders on Tuesday and met an old lady who is a long time member but can't go to church because of an immunity disorder. We had a great lesson with her and are coming back to teach her son.

Wednesday we went to Esquina and looked for a building to have the church in. The place we found we think will work great. We also found an apartment for missionaries to live in. Alejandro is an investigator who we have been working with and he is allowing the Lord to change his life around. We also got to teach a recent convert family and that was awesome!
Thursday we had one of the most exciting and spiritual lessons. We taught a woman and her brother about the plan of salvation and the spirit was so strong. They even started asking questions and were excited to learn more!
Friday our plans for the morning fell through and were going on to plan 'B' but we were walking by one of our favorite member's houses and Juan, the dad, were outside painting so we helped him paint his house, then had lunch (guiso de fideos) and after went back to the pension to study. That night we started divisions with Belgrano. I was with Elder Cloward (from Texas) in his area.
Saturday Elder Cloward and I went and taught a man who had lost his leg. He loved to talk and didn't really like the idea of getting baptized but one day I know his heart will soften. That night was Christmas Eve so we had to be inside a little earlier than normal. We got to the apartment and the lights were out so we just sat in the dark and just talked until my companion and his companion came haha! The lights did come back on eventually so we finished the night out and then went to bed.
Sunday we had church for just and hour because it was Christmas and then we stayed at the church all day to help the other elders skype their families!
Overall it was a great week and I'm super excited for what's to come!

Thanks for all the love and support!
