Week 83- Read Mosiah 2:41
Such a great week!
Divisions in Sáenz Peña and Las Breñas with the zone leaders there. We are teaching the zone leaders how we can improve teaching and also have clean apartments haha. We´ve had so much fun, worked so hard, and had such amazing spiritual experiences.
God is REAL. He loves us and wants us to succeed. Most of all, He wants us to return back to Him. For this is His work and His glory, to bring to pass the imortality and eternal life of US!
Have a great week!!
Week 82- A New Companion!
I have a new companion! His name is Elder Freeman and he´s from Oregon. We are pretty much the same in a lot of ways and we get along really well. He´s an extremely hard worker and we went at it right away this week with divisions in Formosa with the two sets of zone leaders there.
We were able to have divisions with the zone leaders of Formosa I and had a great time with them. It was great to be in Formosa and the people there are amazing. The pension was a wreck (the cause of probably years of neglect) and so elder Freeman and I cleaned it out. Probably for a total of 7 hours. When we finished it looked really good and a LOT cleaner. We had some really good charlas and met some wonderful people. Everything from new investigators to preparing for baptism.
In formosa II we had some great spiritual experiences and talked with some great people as well. The Zone leaders there are great missionaries and wonderful leaders.
We´ve been so exhaused this week but Ive never been happier on my mission. God is REAL, He loves us, and He wants us to return to Him.
I love a scripture in Mosiah 2:41 that says:
Week 80- Feliz Navidad y Ano Nuevo!
¡Saludos a todos!
¡¡¡Feliz Navidad y Año Nuevo!!!
This week was Christmas and Consejo. We talked with the family and that´s always a strange experience. Now being the third time it was a lot more relaxed and converstional filled with a lot of "ummmm what do we say now"´s haha. It´s so awesome to have such a great family to have for the eternities. We celabrated the Navidad with the family of Presidente Patanía and the oficina. The city was filled with fireworks and we enjoyed them from the roof of our pensión. Someone set off fireworks just below our building and they exploded at eye level about 30 yards in front of us!
I was reading recently the Liahona and loved the talk by Elder Maynes "Earning the Trust of the Lord and Your Family". Although I am not even close to having a family of my own yet I liked what was said about the principle of integrity and personal responsability. I have a firm testimony of the importance of integrity and strive to have integrity be an integral part of my life. I hope that we can all set the goal this new year to be persons of integrity.
Have a great New Year!
