Friday, Won a padel game 6-0, put it in the faces of the elders we were playing, had to remind myself that I was trying to work on my humility, then had to keep my mouth shut when I lost the next four games. haha The Lord loves to help with humility.
Saturday we went and tryed (tried, tryied, tryed, how do you spell tried again???) a new way of getting references where we go to the park and showed people a short video of Christ and asked them to fill out a servey, survay? Ugh, English is hard, have you ever thought that before? Anyway, we had a ton of success and it was super fun! Its really cool as well to see what people learned from the video and what they thought of it. Its great to share Christ with people and feel that you are doing what is right and what you are sharing is true! Its also really fun to walk up to the couples that are sitting on the benches kissing and ask them if they want to watch a video haha.
Sunday we learned about obedience and how we can share the gospel using technology. We watched a broadcast by Elder Stevenson Click Here to watch it!. Sunday night we also did the referral activity and it was a success again!
Monday we had meetings with President PatanĂa and the evening and our night was full of paperwork and office stuff for President. I love the ideas President has for the mission and how he wants to do the work. We´re going to see a lot of progress here!
Tuesday we had the oportunity to help President with the transfer board. It was amazing to see the Lord´s hand in where the missionaries needed to go and who needed to be leaders, etc. In the afternoon we taught a lesson with a son of one of the references we got. He is a great kid and hopefully we can help him increase his faith in Christ!
Wednesday we did divisions with the zone leaders of Corrientes. I went with Elder Landers and we found out that that day was our one year anniversary of not being companions. One year ago to that day we got to the mission and stopped being companions. We had a great experience working in the hospital and helping people that were struggling with love ones that were sick and we had some really spiritual experiences there. We also showed the video of The Prince of Peace that the church has. Ill put it on my drive so you can watch it.
Thursday we had a meeting with president in the morning and then there was a sick sister so we had to help with President and her. That night Elder Allan and I went and put up English class posters.
Today was an adventure. In the morning we went to find a nature reserve and may or may have not gotten stuck in the mud on the way. I also may or may not have slipped and gotten myself muddy as well. jajaja (or hahaha for those English folk), Then in the afternoon we enjoyed some good ´ol american baseball in the park.
Hope you have a great week! Remember that God loves you and he is always there, we just have to look.
George Strait said it best this way:
I've been to church,
I've read the book,
I know He's there,
But I don't look,
near as often as I should,
His fingerprints are everywhere,
I just look down and stop and stare,
open my eyes and then I swear,
I Saw God Today
I hope that we can take the time to stop and take the time to see God´s hand in our lives each day.
Sincerely,
Elder Mason Tuttle
