Last Friday we sent off a missionary who was going home, and at night we went to a ward activity that was about decisions (or however you spell it) and the importance of decisions that we make. We watched the short video about Elder Holland and his trip in southern utah. Watch it here!
Saturday we had a meeting with President (we seem to have a lot of those haha) and then in the afternoon/night we went to a baptism of the elders in our ward! It was a great and powerful meeting and was a joyful moment for all who were in attendance.
Sunday was the last Sunday of Elder Gonzalez who is one of the other elders in our ward so he spoke about the priesthood and how we should use the priesthood to bless others. At night we sent out the transfer assignments to all the zone leaders.
Monday Transfer Day! In the morning all of the oldies came and had their interveiw with president and we helped with that. Then at night we had the dinner with President and the ones who were leaving. It was interesting to see the difference between President Patanía and President Franco but we enjoyed ourselves and it was great to hear the experiences of all of the seasoned missionaries.
Tuesday all of the missionaries left in the morning and we had to leave from the Corrientes Airport because the tug was broken at the Resistencia Airport (yeah the airport is small, it only has one tug haha). At night we went to Corrientes again to pick up a huge group of 21 missionaries freshly baked and shipped to Argentina from the MTC!
Wednesday the newbies met their trainers and had lunch. Its always the most fun and exiting part of transfers when the trainers and newbies meet each other! We then had lunch and spent the rest of the day helping them get to where they needed to go.
Thursday we had consejo and it was such a great experience. President Patanía has such a great vision for the mission and is super enerjetic (like I remember how to spell that one, ha! not)
Today is p-day and we´ll see what happens!
