Week 32 "The Week of the Mini-Missionary"

¿Qué Tal?

Tuesday was p-day. In the afternoon we were able to visit Alejandra and she still is excited for her baptism!

Wednesday we weren't able to talk to anyone in the morning because none of them were home but we had a great lunch with a family who has one girl who is preparing for her mission and also a boy who is a branch missionary. We got back to the pension a little early and so we were able to lay down on our beds for about 15 minutes to rest before we started studies! In the afternoon we taught Yamila, Sabrina, and Leonardo and all the lessons went well. We went and met the new missionaries who were coming into our zone. Elder Willard walked off the bus looking like a train hit him! His eye was all swollen and he had a few pimples starting to form. He overstressed and with a new Elder to train its defiantly stressing him, but he´s better now. His companion is great, from Buenos Aires, and speaks English almost better than all the latinos that I know.

Thursday was Consejo so we woke up at 3 to leave for Resistencia. On our way, at one of the terminals our serpentine belt on the bus broke so we had to change busses to go the last leg to Resistencia. After we got there it went really well and we learned about how the Book of Mormon brings miracles and also the importance of taking the sacrament and going to church every week.  Elder Willard and his companion were supposed to move the stuff from La Valle to Esquina but the truck that was doing the move got stuck in the mud.

Friday in the morning we taught Noelia about Tithing and it was a fun lesson. She is a great girl and will get baptized this week! In the afternoon we had a few more lessons that went well. Saturday morning we helped Esquina move their bags to the moving truck and sent them on their way. We taught a new investigator and we hope he will get baptised.

Sunday was a great day, church went well, Noelia came, but Leonardo didn´t. It was my 7th month mark. Branch counsel was good. The branch is continuing to improve little by little.

This week I was watching a mormon message and I heard something that I love.
"When we want to improve or heal ourselves physically, we think inward, or towards ourselves. When we want to improve or heal ourselves spiritually, we have to think outward, or towards others."
I know that is super true. When we think about and serve others, expecially with sharing the gospel, we are healed spiritually.

Thanks for all the letters, prayers and support!
