Week 33- What A Great Week!

Hola a Todos!

What a great week!

Monday was haircuts and the new missionary schedule, which gives more flexablitiy to when things are done during the day. Went on a nice 4k run and in the afternoon taught a girl named Sabrina. As we were teaching a huge storm started rolling in so we booked it (the 30min walk) back to the pension, but the rain never came haha. Just lots of black clouds and wind.

Tuesday we had a great lesson with Leo and his sister, Belen. We had a lesson with Carlos and his wife who are great people and Carlos is really excited to be baptized!

Wednesday we went to La Valle to pay the rent and close the pension there. We also taught an old lady who had no idea what was going on and couldn't understand anything, so we left haha.

Thursday we taught Yamilla who is a little girl preparing for her baptism. For lunch we had some chicken and mashed potatoes. During lunch I proved the Argentine myth wrong that if you eat watermelon and milk together it gives you a really bad stomach ache. There also is the myth that wine and watermelon together kills you but I didn't try that one for obvious reasons haha.

Nothing really interesting happened Friday.

Saturday we had really good lessons with Carlos and Leo. There was a HUGE storm in the morning and flooded everything, but i didn't have my camera.... sorry. We bought a grilled chicken (yes a, not some) and had that for lunch.

Sunday was amazing. Three investigators came to church and at night we had the best charla of my mission. The spirit was super strong and powerful. The only problem is that the girl we were teaching doesn't live here, but sheis for sure going to be baptized!

Thanks for all the support, prayers, and letters!

Elder Mason Tuttle
