Week 49- Sculpture Museum and New Missionaries!

Transfer week!

Friday we went to a sculpture museum in Resistencia, which is "the city of the sculptures." What´s really cool is every two years they do a art show but its different because they actually do the sculpting outside over a period of weeks. The next event is July 2018. They also had a really cool honey exhibition and showed us how honey was made and the different types of honey. They invited us to take a short trip to a neighboring town to tour a honey factory. We could´t take pictures inside but it was a cool tour.

Saturday we were in the office all day getting ready for transfers. We had so many changes this time.

Sunday we learned about family history work and the importance of doing temple and family history work. You may think "Ive already got family history work done by my grandparents up to before adam, There´s nothing i can do" wrong. How about adding information, pictures, and stories to the files of your parents and grandparents on familysearch.org! Try it out!

Monday was transfers! Lots of running around and going to the terminal. Elder Hoopes´ family came to pick him up and I went with him to his parent´s hotel to surprise them. It was really cool to see them and the reunion of him with his parents.

Tuesday was spent taking the old missionaries to the airport and picking up the new ones! There was really dense fog when the new missionaries were landing and the plane couldn't land for about 30 minutes. It was funny to see how lost the new missionaries were, and we take care of them so they get adjusted quickly.

Wednesday we did the training activities for the trainers and then the new missionaries met their trainers. Its a fun experience and cool to see how the Lord knows who needs to be trained by who.

Thursday we went and got paint to give to some missionaries so they could paint their pension. We also got everything ready for some changes that had to be made in the mission. President also gave us a few ties.

Overall it was a great week and I learned a lot about the church´s new (or new for me) religious freedom page and why it is important to God that we have religious freedom. Check it out!
