This week was my last in the MTC. It's been such a great experience; really hard, but totally worth it. Sunday we had the Nashville Tribute come and perform for our devotional and that was both extremely fun and extremely spiritual. The rest of the week went by really fast and on friday we had the In-Field Orientation which really shows how we should set goals as missionaries and how we should work with members, because they are our greatest asset. Mostly this week was a bunch of anticipation for leaving on Monday, and I'm both excited and nervous to see what is to come!
We said goodbye to Hermano Myers which was sad, he is such an amazing teacher and example. He shared some things that changed his life and so I wanted to share them with all of you as well.
-Christ never ever stopped teaching, never stopped helping, never stopped doing what was right, so if we want to be representatives of Him, we must try to be as unstoppable as Him.
-Our agency is stronger than any feeling, any situation, any amount of tiredness, or any excuse we can make. We must think as though the situation around us is our responsibility, and if we do that then we can do something about it.
I think it was Bednar that said "We must learn to be alone in the crowd." we must make decisions independent of the crowd.
Thanks everyone for your letters and prayers, they are both appreciated!
Hasta Luego,
Elder Tuttle
My companion's "organized" closet that I won't have to see after Sunday!
We filled our classroom with bubbles and I couldn't pass up making a bubble BOM picture:)
