Week 9- Multi-Zona

Hello Everyone!

So last P-day was great! After emailing we went back to the apartment and made some amazing empanadas! We had a great lesson with Christian and his family and he accepted the date of September 3
Tuesday we tried to find people we had contacted before but no one was home. We taught our other investigator, Ramon, in the chapel and then at night had a meeting with a guy for apartments but couldn't find any.
Wednesday we woke up and studied, waited for a member to bring us a pump for our washer machine, fixed it!!! and then packed for Multi-zona. We hopped on a bus and took the 4.5 hour ride to Resistencia with the zone leaders, and other missionaries in my zone. We crashed at some random missionaries casa and got to bed.
Thursday we had multi-zona where we meet all day and have a conference with the mission president. Of course I didn't understand much of it but what I did understand was really good! A few points that I loved were that we (as missionaries but also as members)
-Need to have constant persistence
-To feel the spirit we must have a good attitude
-Plan and follow a schedule but when things don't work out as planned be flexible
-Don't do stupid things!
We then caught a bus back to Mercedes, and this was an amazing bus. The busses here have seats like planes (first class and really nice on the bottom, and seats that lean pretty far back on the top) but this bus also had meal service which was a really, really nice. The ZL's and DL's bus didn't leave until the next day so they spent the night with us.
Friday we went on splits with the ZL's and basically did a lot of running around. We we going to do some contacting in Barrio Sagrada Familia (the bottom right corner of the city) and almost got there and decided to stop by the branch president's house. He asked us go and get some temple travel money from a hermana up on the other corner of the city (top leftish), so basically from 9:30-12 we were walking haha. The ZL's are really funny guys and really good missionaries too.
Saturday was a rough day and pretty cold too. We didn't have much success and our one lesson that we had we didn't get a chance to teach.
Sunday went pretty well, we had a meeting at night to try to pump up the branch to invite people to our open house next Saturday.

Overall the mission is going well! I'm excited for this next week to try again and help people find the truth! I love this work and am so grateful for the Savior, because without His help and His atonement none of this would be possible.

Until Next Week....
